We've made it our mission to create an environment that sparks imagination, educates, and delights visitors of all ages, and helps everyone move on from what happened a few years ago that meant the whole place had to shut down indefinitely.
Step into the heart of our park, located only a few minutes drive from the city of St Davids, down the track you’ll all recognise from the news reports a few years ago, and you will soon arrive at the pinnacle of Pembrokeshire fun. Marvel at the grandeur of Monk Manor, an impressive reconstructed abbey nestled amidst picturesque landscapes with an old 14th century rollercoaster built round it (yes, it's the same one all those dark tourism youtubers were visitors three years ago, and yes it has undergone several exorcisms).
Delve into the history of the Pembrokeshire monks who once roamed these lands, experiencing their tales through captivating interactive exhibits and immersive storytelling, which will help visitors and everyone involved in Monktropolis alike to move on from the terrible allegations of welfare issues and poor treatment of the live captive monks and the traumatic series of incidents relating to the faulty wiring on the Dizzy Dissolution Ride.
Embark on our new improved signature ride, "Monk's Quest," where you'll journey through the mythical Monk's Forest, encountering thrilling twists and turns. But beware, as mischievous monk spirits may play tricks on your senses along the way! And most of the dangerous animatronics have been replaced with live monks now too.
For the little ones, our Monk Minis area offers a world of pint-sized adventures. Let their imaginations run wild in the Monk Village and Petting Zoo, where they can don monk robes and engage in interactive play that sparks creativity and laughter, and it is a lot less like the “chamber of horrors” many may have experienced previously.
Hungry for monk-themed delights? Our Monk's Feast Food Court offers a tantalizing array of culinary treats, from hearty medieval feasts to contemporary snacks that cater to all tastes, all locally sourced from Pembrokeshire. Fun, feasts and far fewer malpractices await! Be sure to try our famous Monk's Ale, a refreshing beverage inspired by ancient recipes, and now brewed on site. And since the renovations the food hygiene standards have shot up. We’re now rated 2, which is a marked improvement.
Safety is our utmost priority at Monktropolis. It has to be, we are legally obliged now. Our team has diligently revamped our facilities to include less unexploded WWII bombs (thanks to help from Pembrokeshire-based explosives experts) and implemented advanced security measures to ensure a worry-free experience for every visitor. From enhanced ride inspections to rigorous cleanliness protocols, we've left no stone unturned in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all. The last thing we need is another regrettable incident that would close the place down.
